I agree. Coach Monken is on the right track for Army football. And I believe it can get even better. We should have had only one loss this year. And that was to Wisconsin. No way we should give up 70 points to the likes of Wake Forest in order to lose when we can score 56 points. And no way should we have lost to a weak Navy team and a so, so Ball State team by scoring only one TD, after having scored 8 TD’s against Wake. I know Wake’s D was not that good. But 8 TD’s? When coach Monken and Davis finally figure out how to beat, or prevent, opposing teams like Navy and Ball State from putting up 9 or 10 man fronts that shut down our offense, we’ll be even better. Again, I suggest they’re putting in what I want to call a “Quad Option” to include the quick pass game. And I believe they will do something like that, and become even better than they already are. I believe they will go from very good to great.
