An Isaiah Alston type of WR is a positive to have available, but isn’t all that important, if Army runs the type of short, quick passes to the TE’s, WR’s, and Backs that fit with an option offense. And, was he a good blocker? To me, it’s still MOST important to discourage o pposing defenses from loading the front with 9 or 10 guys and finding it necessary to keep only one or two defenders in pass protection, even those one or two reading our plays and coming up fast into run defense. I don’t believe Isaiah is fast enough to get into the pros, so what will he do with the rest of his life? Only my opinion.
