Freshman Coleton Benson hit two free throws with 10 seconds left as Army held off NJIT and improved to 5-5 on the season Wednesday at Christl Arena in West Point.
Ethan Roberts, a freshman guard, led Army with 16 points. Charlie Peterson recorded his second career double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds, Benson finished with 12 points and Jalen Rucker had 10 points.
