Defense breakdown: Georgia State

Apache Jimmy Ciarlo and linebacker Leo Lowin played all 58 defensive snaps in Army’s 31-14 loss to Georgia State.

Lowin, who had a career-best 12 tackles, ranks 28th in the nation in tackles per game (9.2).

Defensive end Kwabena Bonsu, who made his 30th start, recorded a career-high eight tackles.

Austin Hill started for the first time in his career and played 49 snaps, the most of any defensive lineman.

Army’s defense has allowed 14 fourth-quarter points in each of its three losses to Coastal Carolina, UTSA and Georgia State.
