Marquel Broughton’s play and leadership will play an important role in Army’s 2022 season.
The two-year captain’s impact is felt outside of the football field. Broughton is a regimental commander for the full Garrison this summer and served as a platoon sergeant for 28 cadets in the spring. Making a mark in the community, including Groceries on Us and Special Olympics, has also been a focus for the senior safety.
Broughton was recognized for his work on and off the field with a nomination to the Allstate Good Hands Works team. He’s one of 114 nominees. Eleven Division I-A players will be picked for the team as the end of the season.
