Army’s offense will be without three important starters against Colgate today.
Quarterback Tyhier Tyler, leading rusher Tyrell Robinson and wide receiver Isaiah Alston will not play due to injury.
Robinson was apparently injured his knee on Army’s first play of the third quarter in a loss to Wake Forest last week. Tyler looked to have injured his ankle in the second half against the Demon Deacons.
All-American linebacker Andre Carter will also miss game. Top cornerback Jabari Moore will miss his second straight game.
Senior quarterback Jemel Jones was taking first team reps with starting center Connor Bishop in pregame.
Good news: Junior tackle Boobie Law could make his first start of the season. Law, a 2021 starter who was recovering from a knee injury in the offseason and preseason, has played just 10 snaps in the opener against Coastal Carolina this season.
Top fullback Tyson Riley is also dressed for the Black Knights.
