Chris Mann’s career-high 28 points wasn’t enough as Navy rallied past Army for a 77-71 win at West Point Saturday.

Mann, who made 12 of his 15 shots from the field and added eight rebounds, tied the game at 66 on a free throw with 2:55 left. Army would make only one more shot from the field on Mann’s putback with 15 seconds remaining as Tyler Nelson scored five of Navy’s next seven points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer.

Army dropped its second straight Patriot League game (5-3) and fell to 11-10 on the season.
