Army football players stepped on the new turf of Michie Stadium as a team for the first time for the preseason’s initial scrimmage.
Coach Jeff Monken split the scrimmage into two sections – veterans and freshmen. There were a couple of freshmen that competed in the veteran scrimmage including quarterbacks Champ Harris and Larry Robinson, tight end Parker Poloskey and linebacker Tano Letuli.
