Kwabena Bonsu created interest and a bit of a buzz coming out of Army Pro Day in March.

Bonsu knew the workout in front of 30 scouts and 27 teams was his best chance to make a lasting impression.

If Bonsu could catch the attention of one scout or one team, the defensive end could earn that one shot at a dream opportunity.

The team was the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Bonsu has received an invitation to Jaguars’ rookie minicamp on May 12-14. He is one of three Army seniors that are expected to participate in NFL rookie camps next weekend.

Linebacker Andre Carter was signed as a free agent by the Vikings. Safety Marquel Broughton receives an camp invite from the Broncos.

Bonsu is coming off his best season for the Black Knights. He recorded career high in tackles (47) and sacks (2.5). He played in all 25 games over the past two seasons. The versatility of Bonsu, who is 6-foot-3 and 275 pounds, to play across the defensive line may help the former South Cobb (Ga.) High standout at the next level.
