Daily, DiDomenico, Lewis, Winokur voted 2024 Army football captains

From private first class to Army football captain, nose tackle Cody Winokur’s comeback continues.

Winokur, who left West Point and served a year in the Army at Fort Drum before his return to the academy, was voted one of four Army captains for the 2024 season by teammates.

Captains were announced on Army football social media Saturday morning after Friday’s Black and Gold spring game.

Starting quarterback Bryson Daily, safety Max DiDomenico and nose tackle Kyle Lewis also earned the honor of captain.

Daily led Army in rushing with 901 yards in 10 starts last season. DiDomenico and Lewis each started11 games in 2023. DiDomenico finished fifth on the team with 53 tackles and intercepted two passes. Lewis made 25 tackles and 2,5 tackles for loss.
