Army to open 2024 season against Lehigh

Army football will kick off the 2024 season with a home game against Lehigh

The Black Knights will host Lehigh on Friday August 30 at 6 p.m. at Michie Stadium. Lehigh, a Patriot League school, will be Army’s only FCS (Division I-AA) opponent in 2024 as the Black Knights move to the American Athletic Conference.

Army will start its season at home for the first time since 2020. The opener marks the first game between Army and Lehigh since 1995. CBS Sports Network will air the game.

Playing Patriot League teams is a sign of Army’s future scheduling based on their new model of eight AAC games, Navy, Air Force, one Power Five team and one FCS school.
