Army football’s 2023 season opener has a television home.

The Black Knights’ road game against Louisiana-Monroe will air on the NFL Network at 7 p.m. Sept. 2.

Army opens away from Michie Stadium for the third straight season against an opponent that it defeated 48-24 at West Point on Oct. 22 last season.

Bryson Daily, one of Army’s top quarterbacks this season, scored his first career touchdown – a 64-yard run – in that game. Louisiana-Monroe finished 4-8 last year in Terry Bowden’s second season.

Army will play on the NFL Network for the third time in the last five seasons. The Black Knights defeated UTSA 31-13 in 2019 and lost to Troy 10-9 last season.
