2023 Army Football Camp MVPs: Unionville (Pa.) DL Nolan Holt earns honor

Army football’s prospect camp wasn’t Nolan Holt’s first trip to West Point.

Holt was in the Michie Stadium stands for last season’s game against Villanova and was also in attendance for Army’s 2022 spring game along with his older brother, Nate, who will be a freshman defensive end for the Black Knights this fall.

Saturday’s camp was a chance for Nolan Holt to start his path to West Point in front of the Army coaching staff. Holt impressed, earning the camp’s underclassmen defensive MVP award.

“I enjoyed the camp experience,” Holt said. “It helped me get in contact with the coaches and familiarize myself first. The competition at this camp was very good. I’d say one of my top camps compared to all of the other ones I’ve been to.”

Holt said Army is “absolutely” high on his college list. West Point’s education and life after graduation are important to Holt. Holt also doesn’t expect Saturday’s camp to be his last trip to West Point.

“I hope to make it there more this year since my brother will now be attending the academy,” Holt said.

Army tight end commit Grayson Baker was named the Class of 2024 MVP of the camp.

Decatur (Md.) wide receiver Ethan Bradshaw took home two awards – the underclassmen overall MVP and offensive MVP.

“It (the camp) was awesome from the coaches to the players’ energy,” Bradshaw said. “Coach (Aaron) Smith was great with the wide receivers, pointing out and correcting the receivers on little things to make us overall better and more effective on the field.”
