Army CB Donavon Platt hitting transfer portal

Army starting cornerback Donavon Platt is entering the transfer portal.

Platt’s decision to transfer is another blow to Army’s defense, which lost starting edge rusher Elo Modozie to the transfer portal earlier this week.

Platt started all 14 games for Army in 2024 and recorded two red-zone interceptions for the Black Knights. He played 11 games his freshman season, making 19 tackles and three starts in 2023. Platt did not play in the 2023 season. He would have had two years of eligibility left at Army.
