Army finalist for Joe Moore Award

Army’s offensive line has made the final cut for the Joe Moore Award.

The Black Knights were named one of three finalists for the honor, given to the nation’s top offensive line, on CBS Sports Network Tuesday night.

Joining Army are the offensive lines from No. 1 Oregon and No. 2 Texas.

Army’s offensive line of Connor Finucane, Bill Katsigiannis, Brady Small, Paolo Gennarelli and Lucas Scott has started all 11 games together this season and opened holes for the nation’s leading rushing team.

“Joe Moore said, ‘there is no great joy than moving a man from point A to point B against his well’ and Army may have done that better than any of the units we’ve seen this season,” said Aaron Taylor, founder of the award on CBS Sports Network

The winner of the award is announced with a surprise visit to the school and the trophy presentation later in December.
