Prediction time: Charlotte

Army is 17.5-point home favorite against 1-4 Charlotte before a sold-out crowd Saturday.

The Black Knights are looking to avoid their first 0-3 start at Michie Stadium since 2015.

Army (2-3, 1-2 American) can get to .500 overall and in the league with a win.  

It’s the first time that Army and Charlotte are meeting.

For what it’s worth, Charlotte has not played since last Thursday – a 52-28 loss to South Florida and has had a few extra days to prepare for Army’s option-based offense.

Sal Interdonato (Black Knight Nation): Army 35, Charlotte 14. Waiting for a game where Noah Short has 100 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards, this could be it. 

Seth Mendelson (Black Knight Nation): Army 35, Charlotte 10. Right team at the right time.  Army puts a great effort together and gets back to .500.  Monken uses two quarterbacks throughout. 

Cuthbert Hutton (Sidelines Army): Army 45, Charlotte 17. Hellums gets the start, with Worley calling base packages through the first quarter and a half, Coleman to come in to close out the half, Army up 3 scores at halftime. Hellums runs the first two drives of the third quarter before Coleman comes in to finish the game out.  Offensive looks good as RB Corps delivers best game of the season, defense looks better. Army wins big.
