Jimmy Ciarlo signed to Bills 53-man roster

Former Army linebacker Jimmy Ciarlo could make his NFL regular-season debut Sunday night.

Ciarlo, was signed to the Bills’ 53-man from their practice squad ahead of Buffalo’s prime time game against AFC rival Patriots.

The 2023 Army football captain impressed the Bills coaching staff in preseason after signing a week into camp. Ciarlo’s textbook special teams tackle against the Giants was shown during a Bills full team film session and highlighted on “Hard Knocks.” He was regularly featured on the documentary series.

Ciarlo made five tackles against the Buccaneers in the Bills’ preseason finale and was signed to the team’s practice squad before Week 1. He spent the 2024 NFL season on the Jets’ injured reserve after tearing his ACL in the preseason.
