Army’s Elo Modozie commits to Georgia

Army’s loss is Georgia’s gain.

Black Knights sophomore edge rusher Elo Modozie has committed to perennial national championship contender Georgia.

Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports was one of the first to report of Modozie’s pending transfer to the SEC school.

Modozie’s 6.5 sacks led Army in 2024 but the stat doesn’t give his impact justice. The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Modozie was one of the nation’s best pass rushers in terms of putting pressure on quarterbacks.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Modozie continues his rise and receives steady snaps for Georgia that he is a high NFL draft pick, potentially in the first round. He’s that good.
